Very often, when I give recommendations to my clients, they tend to forget what they need to do after they left my office. That is why I created this section to share with you some of the good recommendations of life. There are all sorts of information in here and are categorised into various topics. Money, Wealth and finance

Many people have problems with their money. One of the biggest issue is our perspective about money. How do we look at money is a very important factor on how we manage our money. If you are like one of my clients, his motto towards money is "Money that is not spent is not your money!", then you will always be spending what you have and feel that you do not have enough.

The old saying of "Money is the root of all evil" is another phrase that many has adopted as the catch phrase about money. The problem is that if you do not treat money with respect and have a correct perspective about money, then you will always not have enough money. First you will need to correct those thoughts. Then the next step will be to have good money habits

By good money habits I mean the everyday thing that we do with our money actually determines how is our financial status. If you tend to purchase on impulse, or go for expensive drinks instead of its alternatives, or keep spending the money that you do not already have (buying on credit and taking lots of loans to finance your lifestyle), then there will always be a lack of money in your life.

I'll share more ideas on this topic in the next few weeks and you can look forward to some tips on how to have good money habits.


Health and emotional issues

Our health is often very closely linked to our emotional well being. This is how our body tells us that there is some emotional issues that we have to deal with. When you do not have emotional issues, your health will improve drastically.

There was once a client of mine has leukemia but he does not think that he has any emotional issues. When I asked him how is his relationship with his parents and have they ever tried to suppress his ideas and dreams, his eyes just turned fiery and he started expressing that his parents have been preventing him from doing many things that he wants. In fact, he felt that his friends around him gave more support to his ideas than his parents. There are many such examples that I can state. However, many people are just too closed in their mind to accept that they really have an emotional problem that they need to recognise and release.

There are a few authors that I would recommend for this topic and the best person will be Louise Hay. You can search for her information online and there is one book that you should not miss, and that is "You Can Heal Your Life".


What you think is what you are (changing the way you feel)

Each of us have some idiosyncrasies of our own. Sometimes, our thoughts are just not "right" enough and therefore, we will start to look for other solutions to our daily problems. When you start to really explore your own thoughts, you will realise that we will have "funny" thoughts every now and then. A very good example is the expression of "You should have...".

A good example will be that one of my client came to me to ask if he can do some investments. I told him that his luck for this year is not good, thus he should avoid entering the stock market or engage in any speculative matters. However, after two months, he came back to me with a very sad face and told me that he lost more than $100,000 while trading shares recently. All I told him was to stop speculating immediately and put his money on other safer places. Then he was curious why I did not say things like "You should have listened to me, then you will not lose that money." Then I replied that if I say that, it will not do any good and at the same time, nothing will change and the resulting effect will be for him to put more blame towards himself. I told him to accept his mistake and move on. The key is to learn from the mistake but not to blame himself any further. He did what he did maybe because he needs to learn this lesson. After what has happened, by blaming himself or others will never improve his situation.

With proper guidance of our thoughts, we can actually live in a happier manner and those negative emotions will not creep into our consciousness. One great author that I respect very much is Dr Wayne Dyer. I've listened to many of his audio programs and read many of his books. They were all very enlightening. Search online for his information and you will benefit from his ideas.

Developing your higher consciousness (Spiritual health)

If you have not meditated before, then you should at least learn to do it. There are many different forms of meditation available today and each would have their own techniques and specific purpose. For me, meditation is a way of relaxing myself and it allows me to get an alignment with my inner self and higher consciousness. When you can do this more often, you will really know what is called inner peace.

In a prison, one of the most severe punishment is actually isolation. They will leave you in isolation and due to the lack of contact and loneliness, many prisoners find it torturing to be in their cell. The main reason is because that they do not have inner peace in their mind and they will need external stimulations in order to feel at ease. However, when a person has done much meditation and able to find inner peace in their hearts, then they will no longer need any external factors to stimulate them. They can be alone for a few days and still feel very happy.
